  • 1/2 Cup Oil
  • 1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 3/4 tsp Baking Soda

Step 1: Soak the dates for about an hour in boiling water so that they are soft and firm.

Step 2: Blend the dates to make a paste.

Step 3: Chop some soaked dates and then add them to the mixture.

Step 4: Now put in some oil and then whisk. Along with that include baking soda and baking powder in the cake mix.

Step 5: Add whole wheat flour 1tsp at a time while stirring the mix and if needed, sweeten the mixture with the preferred choice of sweetener.

Step 6: And lastly pour some milk for nice texture if it looks dry.

Step 7: For nutty cake piece, decorate with chopped nuts and dates, grease the oven dish and bake for 30-35 mins in a preheated oven at 350F.
