Tenet – Christopher Nolan’s Canvas

The second trailer of Tenet dropped on and has left the die-hard Christopher Nolan fans completely thrilled. Tenet is the next big project of Christopher Nolan after the blockbuster Dunkirk. Featuring stars like Robert Pattinson, John David Washington,  Elizabeth Debicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine (a Nolan mainstay), Kenneth Branagh and Dimple Kapadia.

The release date

The first trailer that dropped around 5 months back showing that the movie would be releasing on 17th July. But as the corona-virus pandemic broke out the release date changed too. As we can see in the new trailer the movie will be released soon. As we talk about its legendary director Christopher Nolan, he is a person who would only settle for a world cinematic release. So the release has been postponed for an unknown period along with some big movies that were scheduled to be released this year.

The next big project

When the previous trailer for the movie was released in December 2019, Nolan had said that it was his most ambitious project. “We shot in seven countries, all over the place, with a massive cast and huge set pieces. There’s no question, it’s the most ambitious film we’ve made.”

As Nolan movies often tend to confuse the audience and keep them guessing until the end, the second trailer dropped some hints. However, this is just a trailer. The plot begins with an agent who has been assigned a task to prevent World War 3 from happening. Now things get interesting and complicated as it said that it’s not just nuclear warheads. Certainly, there’s more and we could be seeing that incoming trailers.

THE TENET

Tenet the word itself is a big mystery. As in the starting of the trailer itself, there was a dialogue “I gave you one-word TENET”. It is said sometimes it will open doors and closes some. So its a technology or a term to a phenomenon it’s still in shadow. Even so, we can guess its related to some time reversing kind of things. Its not time travel as there was a small part in which character played by Robert Pattinson states “Its not Time travel”. And there is a sequence in which it’s said it is not about shooting bullets it’s about catching them. And some instances where they say what has happened here and suddenly corrects that or what is going to happen. So we could pretty much say that it is related to time-bending.
